The organisers of the SMBC Singapore Open announced in July 2016 that the 2017 golf tournament will be played from Jan 19-22, 2017.
The US$1 million (S$1.35 million) event will be held at Sentosa Golf Club’s Serapong Course, which has hosted the tournament since 2005. The Singapore Open returned in February 2016 after a three-year hiatus.
“The return of the Singapore Open this year for the first time since 2012 reminded everyone why it is one of the region’s best tournaments and we are excited to be able to start revealing details about next season,” said Singapore Golf Association president Bob Tan.
Patrick Feizal Joyce, vice-president (golf) at event promoter Lagardere Sports, added that star names and new initiatives for the competition will be unveiled in the next few months.
Stay & Play packages have been released and are available for booking for 19-22 January 2017.
